ATHENET

is a European project funded by the LEONARDO Programm. Co-ordinated by the Italian OBN (Organismo Bilaterale Nazionale per la Formazione), a bi-partite organisation of employers' and trade union organisations for initiatives in the field of vocational training, the project is dedicated to collecting, analysing, comparing and evaluating the different forms of training needs analysis in the vocational education and training (VET) systems of the participating countries. The aim is to make the different methods transparent and to establish a European exchange network and perspectively a database on these methods.

The first document is the German report fed into this project and network by Hans-Werner Franz for sfs.
