Forschung wie praktisches Mitwirken an vielen Ecken und Enden der
beruflichen Aus- und Weiterbildung in Deutschland und Europa gehören
seit vielen Jahren zum "Kerngeschäft" einer Anzahl
erfahrener Wissenschaftlerinnen und Wissenschaftler an der Sozialforschungsstelle
Dortmund.
Das betrifft praktisch alle Aspekte der beruflichen Bildung:
- ihre Systeme und Strukturen,
- ihre Institutionen und Träger,
- ihre fachlichen, methodischen und sozialen Inhalte
,
- ihre didaktischen Konzepte und
- ihre Voraussetzungen und Wirkungen,
- ihre politischen und finanziellen Rahmenbedingungen,
- Qualifikationsanforderungen der Beschäftigten
und Unbeschäftigten wie der Unternehmen
- und viele andere.
Die stark zunehmende Vernetzung unserer Arbeit im deutschen wie
im europäischen Kontext legt es nahe, ausgesuchte Produkte
aus diesen Netzwerken auch im weltweiten Netz zur Verfügung
und zur Diskussion zu stellen, nicht nur unsere eigenen Beiträge,
sondern auch die von Kolleginnen und Kollegen, mit denen wir zusammen
arbeiten.

Research and co-operation
on numerous practical issues in all areas of vocational education
and training, initial and continuing, in Germany and Europe are part
of the "core business"of a number of senior researchers
of Sozialforschungsstelle Dortmund.
This is true for virtually all aspects of vocational education
and training (VET) and continuing vocational education and training
(CVET):
- its systems and structures;
- its institutions and providers;
- its technical, methodical and social subjects
and contents;
- its didactical concepts;
- its prerequisites and impacts;
- its political and financial framework conditions;
and
- skill requirements and training needs of employed
and unemployed as well as of the companies;
- and many other aspects.
The massive increase of networking in the German as well as in
the European context are suggesting to publish selected products,
i.e., our own as well as those of our colleagues with whom we co-operate,
also in the worldwide web providing and putting them at stake to
whom they may concern.
